The DAC, chaired by Rajnath Singh on March 27, 2026, granted Acceptance of Necessity for proposals worth approximately
₹2.38 lakh crore.

Record FY26 Approvals

 
In FY2025–26, the DAC accorded AoN for 55 proposals worth ₹6.73 lakh crore — and capital procurement contracts worth ₹2.28 lakh crore were signed, both the highest ever in a single financial year. 

What Got Cleared - Army

 
For the Army: Air Defence Tracked System, Dhanush Gun System, High Capacity Radio Relay, Armoured Piercing Tank Ammunition, and Runway Independent Aerial Surveillance System. 

What Got Cleared - Air Force & Coast Guard

 
The Air Force received approvals for S-400 missiles, Medium Transport Aircraft, Remotely Piloted Strike Aircraft, and Su-30 engine overhauls. The Coast Guard got Heavy Duty Air Cushion Vehicles.
