HCC Wins ₹2,917 Cr CIDCO Contract for Water Tunnel in Raigad 

Landmark Order Win 

Hindustan Construction Company won a CIDCO contract worth ₹2,917 crore in a joint venture, the LCESPL-HCC Joint Venture, awarded by the City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra. 

Project Scope 

The contract covers construction of a 22.21-kilometre raw water tunnel and a 150 MLD water treatment plant in Raigad, Maharashtra, a critical water infrastructure project for the region.

HCC is a leading infrastructure company with nearly 100 years of experience, having built 26% of India's hydroelectric power capacity, 60% of its nuclear power capacity, and completed over 402 km of tunnelling across the country. 

Order Book Strengthens 

As of November 2025, transport infrastructure projects accounted for about 63% of HCC's total order book, which stood at ₹13,152 crore. This CIDCO win significantly boosts its overall order pipeline.
