JSW Steel FY26 Crude Steel Output Grows 8% to 30.14 MT, Shows Strong Production Momentum

JSW Steel crossed the 30-million-tonne mark in combined crude steel production in FY26, registering 30.14 MT, an 8% YoY growth from 27.79 MT in FY25.
India Operations Lead
Indian operations produced 29.25 MT, an 8% YoY increase. JSW Steel USA Ohio contributed 0.83 MT, and newly transferred JSSL recorded 0.06 MT to the consolidated total.
Q4 FY26 Performance
Q4 FY26 combined production stood at 7.49 MT. Indian operations ran at ~96% capacity utilisation in Q4, excluding the offline Blast Furnace-3 at Vijayanagar.
Capacity Upgrades Underway
Vijayanagar's BF-3 has been offline since September 2025 for upgrade. Salem unit capacity rose from 1.0 MTPA to 1.15 MTPA. Current consolidated capacity stands at 35.9 MTPA.
