Sensex & Nifty May Soar Up to 3% at Open: US-Iran Ceasefire Leads the Rally

Ceasefire Deal in Sight 

Asia's stock benchmark jumped in early trading, oil plunged and the dollar weakened after the US and Iran agreed to a two-week ceasefire.

What the Deal Looks Like
 
A two-stage deal is being considered with a final ceasefire potentially in 15–120 days, including nuclear curbs and sanctions relief under the proposed Islamabad Accord framework. 

Markets Reacted Strongly on April 6 

Sensex climbed 787.30 points or 1.07% to close at 74,106.85, while Nifty advanced 255.15 points or 1.12% to settle at 22,968.25, its third consecutive day of gains. 

Rupee & Sectors Respond
 
The rupee gained 14 paise to close at 93.04 against the US dollar. Nifty Bank and Realty were the top sectoral gainers, rising over 2% each, with Midcap and Smallcap indices also climbing 1.5% and 1.3% respectively.
