Trade-Wings Limited was initially incorporated as a private limited Company as 'Trade-Wings Apparels Private Limited' in June, 1993. The Company was converted into a Public Limited Company and the name of the Company was changed to Trade-Wings Apparels Limited and further to Trade-Wings Limited in February, 1995. Presently, Company operates in the business of Travel, Tourism and doing Cargo Services. The Company is led by the Promoter, Dr. Shailendra P. Mittal. The Company has been steadily expanding its customer base, infrastructure, and service lines by establishing new branches in different cities in India. Initially, the Company was engaged in manufacturing of jeans, trousers and shirts under the Jordache, US, brand names at its factory in Andheri, Mumbai. The Company was associated with Jeans East (International) Limited (JEIL) during that period. Thereafter, JEIL acquired the knowhow, technical information and process for the manufacture of readymade garments with all rghts including the Jordache symbols, design and other trademarks from Jordache Enterprises, U.S. The comprehensive range of services worldwide within the travel and tourism industry includes flight bookings, hotel reservations, car and coach hire, foreign exchange, visa and passport services, travel insurance, personalized itinerary management, conference and convention management. Apart from these, Company owns and operates the luxurious Bogmallo Beach Resort, a breathtaking five-star hotel situated on the pristine white sands of Bogmallo Beach in Goa's southern region. Strategically located from Dabolim Airport, the resort offer convenient accessibility for guests arrivals from distant locations. In addition, the Company has diversified into the travel education business. Alongside core operations, it engages in real estate and property management projects across India, creating residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties. In FY 2015-16, the Company got amalgamated with Wholly Owned Subsidiary Company, Roopsangam Holdings Limited, making the Scheme of Arrangement effective on June 4, 2015. Since FY 2016-17, Company was running on the path of progress and profitability with expansion of its . branch networks, which increased from 33 to 37.
