BEML receives an export order from KAMSS Ltd, Russia

BEML received a $19.71 million export order for a BEML Dozer BD355 from KAMSS Ltd in Russia.

The contract, for which a purchase order has been received, will be carried out in stages starting in August 2023.

The company announced in a statement on August 22 that it had received a contract for Rs 101 crore from the Ministry of Defence (Army) for the delivery of Command Post Vehicles.

It received a rolling stock order from Bangalore Rail Corporation Limited on August 7 for a total of Rs 3,177 crore.

For the provision of 318 coaches for the Phase 2, Phase 2A, and Phase 2B lines of the Bengaluru Metro, BEML emerged to be the lowest bidder in May 2023.

BEML is a public sector enterprise that produces mining machinery as well as rail coaches and replacement components. Its products are intended for use in a variety of economic sectors, including coal, mining, steel production, limestone mining, power generation, irrigation, construction, road building, aviation, defence, metro, and railroads.
