NBCC wholly owned subsidiary, Hindustan Steelworks, announced on Tuesday, 30 July, that it has secured two contracts for the construction of a new government medical college and hospital in Parbhani and a residential hostel building in Solapur.

Hindustan Steelworks, a subsidiary of NBCC (India) Limited, has recently secured significant contracts totaling Rs 443.61 crore. 

As detailed in a stock exchange filing, HSCL has been awarded the construction of a new Government Medical College and 430-bedded hospital in Parbhani, valued at approximately Rs 403.89 crore. This project is commissioned by the Medical Education & Ayush Government of Maharashtra.

Additionally, HSCL has been contracted to build a residential hostel for doctors and interns at the Shri Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Sarvopchar Rugnalaya in Solapur, with an estimated value of Rs 39.72 crore. This expansion into healthcare infrastructure highlights HSCL's ongoing commitment to advancing public sector projects across India.
