Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd. signs agreement with Chalet Hotels

On September 4, Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) inked a power delivery agreement (PDA) with Chalet Hotels for a captive project of 6 MW AC.

Under this agreement, the facility will create 13.75 million units of clean energy from renewable sources.

Projects signed in August

TPREL inked a group PDA with global automotive systems and parts industry leader ANAND Group for a 4.4-MW AC.

The subsidiary additionally signed a power purchase deal with Tata Motors Limited Pantnagar facility in Uttarakhand for a 9MWp on-campus solar project.

The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) has granted Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd (Tata Power-DDL) a three-year extension till 2026 for its in-house R&D unit.

Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd is a joint venture between Tata Power and the government of the NCT of Delhi. While DSIR is part of the Government of India's Ministry of Science and Technology.
