Tata Power’s subsidiary signs 4.4-MW solar plant deal
The ANAND Group and Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), the company's subsidiary, entered into a Group Captive Power Delivery Agreement (PDA) for 4.4 MW AC.
In accordance with this agreement, TPREL will assist in the production of 10 million units of clean energy from renewable sources.
With this increase, TPREL's overall renewable energy capacity will be 7,787 MW, which includes 3,655 MW of projects that are at various phases of implementation. Its operational capacity will be 4,132 MW, which will comprise 3,139 MW of solar and 993 MW of wind energy.
Previously, Tata Power and the ANAND Group collaborated together on a Maharashtra-based 10.1-MW Solar PV park project.
On August 24, Tata Power EV Charging Solutions Limited (TPEVCSL), a subsidiary of Tata Power Group, and Zoomcar, a well-known car-sharing platform, entered into a significant partnership with the goal of promoting widespread adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) and providing EV users across the country with a seamless and user-friendly charging experience.
TPREL is a developer of renewable energy projects that it owns, runs, and maintains. These projects include solar, wind, hybrid, round-the-clock, peak, floating solar, and storage systems, including battery storage. Additionally, it provides complete green energy solutions for urban and rural regions, including turnkey, EPC, and O&M options for a range of business sectors, including utility-scale projects, solar rooftop, and solar pump systems.
