Tata Power Share Price Today

Established on September 18, 1919, Tata Power serves as India's leading integrated Power Company, formerly known as Tata Electric. The company’s broad services covers the entire power value chain, including conventional and renewable energy, power services, Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations, and solar roofs. Pioneering India's hydroelectric power landscape, Tata Power inaugurated the nation's inaugural hydroelectric power plants in 1915.

Tata Power, along with its subsidiaries and joint ventures, owns a generation capacity of 12,772 MW, with 30% sourced from sustainable, eco-friendly sources. The company remains at the forefront of eco-conscious technological solutions, providing energy-efficient power services, multi-city EV charging infrastructure, and rooftop solar services to support environmentally conscious consumers and foster India's EV adoption drive.

The company also owns a transmission network of 4,194 circuit kilometres that enables it to provide stable distribution services for 12.9 million customers. Tata Power is committed to developing public EV infrastructure with 3,700 public EV charging points to be installed in 351 cities.

Tata Power endures to challenge the limits with more than 1,650 MW worth operational solar projects and a production capacity of 4.6 GW for modules and solar cells. The company has already completed more than 11.5 GWp worth of large-scale solar projects, while many are still under development which makes them one among India's leading clean energy players currently.
