Established in 1981, HP Cotton Textile Mills Limited, as a part of Dora Group, a leading textile group of India, specializes in manufacturing cotton yarns and threads with its integrated manufacturing plant at Hisar. The Company was incorporated on September 03, 1981 and the Certificate of Commencement of Business was granted on January 05, 1982. Since then, the Company had commenced its business. HP Threads is a popular brand of products from HP Cotton Textile Mills Limited, one of largest exporters of cotton specialty yarns and cotton sewing threads from India. It works a strong market reputation for its high-quality products having the exports to over 40 countries worldwide. With a strong marketing network across India and abroad, the Company became one of the the largest producers of high-quality yarns and cotton sewing threads from India. The company undertook a backward-cum-forward-integration project to increase the thread manufacturing capacity by around 80%. Balancing equipment was added to the thread division in 1992-93 to improve the product mix and range of products. The products marketed under the Dora brand, besides being sold under DGS and D-rate contract to the defence sector, fertiliser units and tyre manufacturers, have been exported to Germany, Lebanon, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Spain and elsewhere. The plant is having the latest machinery which consists of 25000 ring spinning spindles including combing integrated with autoconers, doubling, TFO-twisting, gas-singeing, hank-winding; modern process house for scouring, bleaching, mercerizing, dyeing, polishing & glazing; complete finishing facility for balling, skeining, spooling, tubing and packaging. It processes raw fibre into a finished and packaged product, having a production capacity of 4.8 million kgs per year.
