Sword-Edge Commercials Limited was initially incorporated as Rotam Commercial Limited in June 1985. Name of the Company was changed from Rotam Commercial Limited to Sword-Edge Commercials Limited in 2013-14. The Company faced difficult periods of business activities due to paucity of funds. Initially, the Company was primarily engaged in investment and commercial activities. The FY2026, marked the Company's strategic transformation, towards progress from its traditional commercial activities towards a diversified, technology model. The Company has embarked upon a structured transition towards technology-enabled businesses. During the year 2026, the Company expanded its business portfolio through IT Support Services and Business Support Services, establishing a new operating platform. Company marked the milestone through strategic transition and business diversification initiatives. As part of its strategic roadmap, the Company continues to evaluate opportunities within India's evolving digital financial ecosystem through initiatives such as Payment Gateway services, Payment Switch infrastructure and, subject to obtaining all applicable statutory, regulatory and licensing approvals, a Payment Bank. In FY26, preparatory work has come across digital infrastructure, operational planning, organisational capability enhancement and regulatory readiness to support these proposed initiatives.
