APL Apollo Tubes Limited (APL) is India's largest and most innovative producer of structural steel tubes and pipes. Established in 1986, the company has 11 manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and branch offices in over 20 cities. In 1994-95, APL commissioned a new galvanising plant and received ISI Certification. APL obtained ISO 9001:2000 accreditation and put into operation a brand-new tube mill and a state-of-the-art gallium mill in 2001–02.

In 2003-04, APL developed in-house hollow sections and became the first company in India to launch pre-galvanised pipes. In 2009-10, APL expanded its product range by launching door sections, window sections, and railing tubes. In 2015, APL achieved a capacity of 1 MTPA in steel pipe production. APL established the first Direct Forming Technology Line in India in Hosur between 2016 and 2017, and it also built greenfield plants in Raipur and Chhattisgarh. In 2018-19, APL entered the home improvement solutions segment, achieving a 40% market share in the structural steel tubing industry.
