MRPL is located amid magnificent hilly landscape north of Mangalore in Karnataka's Dakshina Kannada District. The 15.0MMTPA (Million Metric Tonne per Annum) Refinery features a flexible architecture with complicated secondary processing units and great flexibility to process crudes from diverse APIs, resulting in a wide range of quality products.
Nearly all petroleum products, including pet coke and polypropylene, are likely produced at MRPL's refinery, including naphtha, LPG, motor spirit, high-speed diesel, kerosene, aviation turbine fuel, sulphur, xylene and bitumen. Furthermore, the whole spectrum of homopolymer grades may be produced at MRPL's 440 KTA Novolen gas-phase polypropylene plant, which uses Zeigler Natta catalyst.

MRPL operates a Rail Waggon Loading Silo for Petcoke, Truck Loading Silos for Petcoke, Single Point Mooring Facility, While Oil Loading Facility, and Two Captive Jetties in NMPT. MRPL operates Marketing Infrastructure Depots at Hindupur (AP), Hosur (TN), and Kasargod (Kerala).
Aviation turbine fuel (ATF) is sold to airlines, both local and foreign carriers, by Shell MRPL Aviation Fuels and Services Limited (SMA), a 50:50 joint venture between MRPL and Shell Gas B.V. (Shell), a step-down company of Royal Dutch Shell Plc, Netherlands. MRPL Refinery Complex is now the source of ATF for SMA, which distributes it to a number of airports, including those in Bengaluru, Goa, Mangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Calicut, Madurai, Trichy, Coimbatore, Kannur, etc. Indian carriers can meet fuel standards at international airports thanks to SMA.
History of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited Stock Price
