Offline Process for HDFC NEFT Fund Transfer


You can do NEFT transactions offline at an HDFC Bank branch by following these steps:

  • Fill out the HDFC Bank NEFT form with the beneficiary’s details.
  • Submit the form at the bank counter.
  • The bank staff will give you a receipt once the NEFT transfer is done.
  • You will get a confirmation message on your phone number provided in the form.

1) IMPS Fund Transfer through HDFC Net Banking

Log in to HDFC online banking with your username and password.

  • Go to the Fund Transfer section for IMPS transfers.
  • Enter the beneficiary’s details:  their MMID and mobile number, IFSC code, and account number.
  • Click submit.
  • Enter the amount you want to send and the required details to start the transaction.

2) IMPS Fund Transfer through HDFC Mobile Banking Application

Below are the steps to make an HDFC IMPS transaction using mobile banking:

  • Download the HDFC mobile app on your phone.
  • Log in with your MPIN and password.
  • On the home screen, tap the fund transfer option.
  • Then, choose ‘Other Bank using IMPS’
  • Tap to send money using the IFSC code.
  • Pick the person you want to send money to.
  • Enter the amount and confirm the payment.
  • Type the OTP sent to your registered phone to finish the transaction.
  • You will get a confirmation message and email from the bank once the money is sent.

HDFC customers can use the bank's RTGS service to transfer money quickly between their HDFC account and accounts at other banks.

Online RTGS transactions are free.

Offline transactions (through the bank branch) cost Rs. 15 + applicable GST.

The minimum amount for an RTGS transaction is Rs. 2 lakh.

For online banking, you can transfer up to Rs. 50 lakh.

There is no upper limit for transactions made through the branch.

RTGS is available 24/7, but it’s not available from 11:30 PM to 12:30 AM due to a system update.

To initiate an NEFT transaction offline at HDFC Bank through a branch, please follow these steps:

  • Complete the HDFC Bank RTGS form, ensuring that all beneficiary details are accurately provided.
  • Submit the completed form to the bank counter for processing.
  • Upon successful processing of the RTGS transfer, the bank executive will issue a receipt confirming the transaction.

A confirmation notification or SMS will be sent to the mobile number provided on the RTGS form.
