Why is My Withdrawable Balance Zero or Not Matching My Trading Account Balance?

There are outstanding amounts on your account. It may occur for the reasons listed below:

For delivery sell transactions

On T+1 day or the following working day, you can take the money out.

For instance, you have a ₹1000 delivery sell transaction on Monday. These are yours to keep on Tuesday. You will thus notice a 0% withdrawable balance and a ₹1000 unsettled balance on Monday.

Withdrawals from the F&O position may be made on T+1 day, or the next working day.

For instance: On Monday, you have a ₹1000 F&O sale transaction. These are yours to keep on Tuesday. You will thus notice a ₹1000 unsettled balance and a 0 withdrawable balance on Monday.

Why is My Funds Payout Request Rejected?

The following factors might lead to the rejection of your withdrawal request:

  • New Trading Move: Your recent decision to trade securities has changed the required margin in your account.
  • Change in Required Margin: The margin needed for your trades has adjusted due to market volatility or altered asset values.
  • Insufficient Account Balance: Your current balance doesn't cover the revised margin, affecting trade execution.

I have placed the Withdrawal Request, but it is not reflected in my Ledger?

Please verify if the next payout cycle has begun. If not, the withdrawal request will only be handled once the payment cycle has begun. In general, the withdrawal procedure is carried out with the least amount of processing time.

Even after submitting a withdrawal request, you can still trade assets using the available balance until the payment cycle begins. For example, if you have ₹1000 in your account and request a withdrawal of ₹700, you'll have ₹300 left to trade with.

Why have I received only a Partial Amount Against my Funds Payout Request?

You may receive a partial amount against your withdrawal due to specific reasons:

  • Margin Requirements: Changes in margin needs could impact the withdrawal amount.
  • New Trades: Initiating new trades after requesting a withdrawal might modify the amount.
  • Accrual Charges: Any pending charges or dues may reduce the withdrawal amount.

For instance, if you have ₹1000 and requested ₹ 900 for withdrawal but engage in a trade more than in a ₹150 loss, your available balance reduces to ₹850. Consequently, the withdrawal processed will reflect ₹850, not the initial ₹1000. Similarly, changes in margin requirements or pending charges might also affect the withdrawal amount.
