There are about 8 international offices for the bank overseas. They have branches in Dubai, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Colombo, Singapore, and Gift-city-IBU. In Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Dhaka, the bank has representative offices. There's an overseas subsidiary of Axis Bank in London, UK. It deals with investment banking and liability, syndication, trade and finance, and corporate lending.

Its vision is to become the most preferred financial service provider. Owning, working together, being transparent, being ethical, and being customer-centric are key values at Axis Bank. With over sixty thousand employees, the bank makes sure they have enough opportunities to reach their full potential. Axis Bank values diversity and makes sure its staff reflects it.

Corporate social responsibility is vital to the bank; they run the axis bank foundation to help people. As a public trust, the foundation is registered. The bank gives 1% of its net profit to the foundation to support underprivileged kids every year.

Company Establishment

Axis Bank started as UTI in 1993 and started operating in 1994. Unit Trust of India, the country's best and largest bank, promoted Axis Bank. Axis Bank was also backed by United India Insurance Limited, Oriental Insurance Limited, New India Assurance Company Limited, and the Life Insurance Corporation of India. In 2007, the bank changed its name from UTI Bank to Axis Bank. 

Retail and corporate banking are the bank's strengths. To achieve excellence, Axis Bank adopts the best industry practices. There have been a lot of milestones for Axis Bank over the years. In 2011, it launched the first Indian currency prepaid travel card.Most of th e card's users are foreigners. In 2013, it was voted the most trusted private bank in India. The bank became the first in India to install 2 lakh EDC machines in 2012.
