According to RBI, Foreign portfolio investment (FPI) flows to domestic debt instruments recorded outflows in January 2025 (as on January 14 th). The volatility of yields in the Indian bond market remains low relative to US treasuries though uncertainty regarding the incoming US administration's stance on tariffs, tax cuts and deregulation persists on global bond markets.
