Authum Investment & Infrastructure Limited began as a proprietary investments business, leveraging the promoter's core expertise. Building on this foundation, the Company grew its investment book through prudent, research-backed investments linked to India's economic engine. Its core business operations focused on investing and lending. The Company thereafter pivoted into the creation of an additional line of business through acquisitions approved by the Reserve Bank of India, and subsequently building a specialised capability in structured credit / stressed assets. The Company progressed on the strategic objective to create multiple credit-linked platforms, evidenced through the acquisition of an Asset Reconstruction Company (ARC) in FY 2025-26. Incorporated on 17 July 1982, Authum is a registered NBFC engaged in the business of making investments in financial instruments like acquisition of shares & securities, real estate and financing of loans. The Company has invested in publicly listed and unlisted companies i.e., providing growth capital, private equity investments, real estate investments and debt instruments. It also engaged in structured financing, fixed returns portfolio, secured lending and equity investments in emerging companies. The Company had encashed a large part of the proprietary portfolio to acquire two businesses related to mortgage finance. However, pursuant to Rights Issue of the Company, the promoter holding changed from 86,15,906 Equity Shares i.e. 74.74% to 1,10,90,906 Equity Shares i.e. 68.72% of paid up equity share capital of the Company. The Company bid for acquisition of assets of Reliance Home Finance Limited (RHFL) and acquisition of Reliance Commercial Finance Limited (RCFL). In 2023-24, through the Scheme of Arrangement between Reliance Commercial Finance Limited (RCFL) and the Company and their respective shareholders, the Lending Business of RCFL was transferred to the Company effective from October 01, 2023. Company incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary viz. Authum Asset Management Company Private Limited on January 11, 2024. The Company diversified the business into two lines viz, the Investment Business and the Credit Business in FY 2023-24. The Company acquired 88.37% of equity stake in India SME Asset Reconstruction Company Limited (ISARC), making it a subsidiary of the Company in March, 2025. Onwards FY 2025, Company focused on scaling the primary business verticals i.e., the Investments Business and the Credit Business. The Company acquired a ~88.37% stake in India SME Asset Reconstruction Company (ISARC) in June 2025, making it a subsidiary of the Company. Since acquisition, approximately Rs 350 Crore of capital has been deployed, building AUM of around Rs 700 Crore as of March 31, 2026. In 2025-26, Billion Dream Sports Private Limited became wholly owned subsidiary company on July 31, 2025. Primetek Pens Private Limited was made subsidiary in November 2025 and Authum Foundation on December 5, 2025. Further the Company has acquired 35.09% of voting rights of Rivaara Labs Private Limited on October 30, 2025, making it an associate of the Company.
