VL E-Governance & IT Solutions Limited was initially incorporated as 'Vakrangee Logistics Private Limited' on March 18, 2016. The name of the Company was changed to VL E-Governance & IT Solutions Limited with effect from November 1, 2021. The Company has pioneered India's largest player functioning as a Systems Integrator and end-to-end service provider for various e-Governance projects. It is wholly owned subsidiary of Vakrangee Ltd. Over the past thirty years, Company has been India's go-to systems integrator, quietly building mission-critical projects under the National e-Governance Plan. Presently, it engages in providing diverse solutions, activities in e-Governance and IT/ITES sector including last mile delivery services of parcels on behalf of e-commerce entities and courier booking services. The Company has experience in delivering systems integration and other IT/ITES services for India's e-Governance plan. The business includes E-Governance services, IT/ITES System Integration services, B2B Trading business and IT/ITES equipment trading activities. In 2022-23, the E-Governance & IT /ITES Business of Vakrangee Ltd was demerged/ transferred with and into the Company as a going concern basis through Scheme of Arrangement and the demerger became effective from May 26, 2023. 10,59,51,329 Equity Shares were listed with effect from August 14, 2023. The Company acquired a 26% equity stake in HAL Edgewood Technologies Private Limited, by entering into the aerospace, defence and satellite projects in 2024. In May 2025, Company formalised the partnership with Ekansh Concepts Limited as the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partner for the Sankalp Industrial Smart City Project.
