B Thiagarajan Board Membership

B Thiagarajan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Madurai University and has completed the Senior Executive Program at the London Business School. He joined Blue Star in 1998 and has since held various roles, including President of the AC&R Products Group in 2009, and was elevated to the Board in 2013. He became Joint Managing Director in 2016 and took charge as Managing Director on April 1, 2019. In his current role, he oversees the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration business operations in India, which includes Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service. Additionally, he manages Corporate Communications and Public Relations functions, and has played an active role in industry forums, including serving as Past President of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Manufacturers Association (RAMA) and as a member of the CII National Council, where he chairs several committees focused on consumer electronics, durables, and rural development.
