Davinder Brar Board Membership

Mr. Davinder Brar has extensive experience in general management and sales and marketing, having worked with Unilever for 22 years, where he served as the Managing Director for East Africa, successfully turning around a loss-making business to achieve double-digit growth. He holds a BE in Electrical Engineering from Thapar Institute and a master's degree in management from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, where he was a gold medalist in 1974. In addition to his role at EPL Ltd, he serves as an Independent Director on the boards of several other companies, including Wockhardt Limited, Mphasis Limited, and Maruti Suzuki India Limited. He is also the Chairman of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee at EPL, indicating his commitment to social responsibility. Furthermore, he was a Director at the Reserve Bank of India from 2000 to 2007 and is a member of the Advisory Board of the USA-India Chamber of Commerce. His comprehensive expertise spans various sectors, particularly the pharmaceutical industry. In the financial year ended March 31, 2022, he received a total remuneration of Rs. 35.00 lakhs from his directorships.
