About AksharChem (India) Ltd

AksharChem (India) Limited (Formerly Known as Audichem (India) Limited) was promoted by Mrs. Paru M. Jaykrishna in 1989.
Company changed the name to AksharChem (India) Limited from Audichem (India) Limited effective on March 23, 2004.
The Company is headquartered in the chemical belt of Mehsana (Gujarat) with a total manufacturing capacity of 23,400 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA).
Presently, the Company is principally engaged in the business of manufacturing & export of Dyes Pigments and Precipitated Silica. The Company's product fall into two categories organic chemicals and inorganic chemicals, which further diversified into Vinyl Sulphone, H Acid, CPC Green in organic chemicals and Precipitated Silica in inorganic chemicals.
Out of which organic chemicals have multiple applications in textile, inks, plastics and paints industries and inorganic chemicals have applications in tyre, rubber, agrochemical and animal feed industries.

About Andhra Sugars Ltd

Andhra Sugars Limited, incorporated in 1947, is a leading manufacturers' of Sugar, Industrial Alcohol & Chlor Alkali Products, Aspirin, Salicylic Acid, Sulphuric Acid, Liquid & Solid Propellants, and also generating power through renewable and non-renewable resources. The Tanuku Plant manufactures 5000 TCD of Sugars and Taduvai plant 2500 TCD. Its by-product Molasses which is the raw material for Sugar is being produced @ 15 KL per day capacity in the initial stage in the Alcohol plant at Tanuku.
Later this was increased to 30 KL per day.
Bagasse is being used for Co-generation of Electricity. The Caustic Soda plant is having production capacity of about 112,000 MT per annum.
The by-products for Caustic Soda plants are Hydrogen and Chlorine.
The production capacities of Caustic Soda at Saggonda Plant were increased from 100 TPD to 175 TPD to meet the future demand for Caustic Soda and other Chloro-alkali Industry products.
