About Amal Ltd

Amal Limited was initially incorporated in July, 1974 as 'Amal Rasayan Limited'.
In January, 1996, Amal Rasayan changed its name to Amal Products Limited and again to Amal Limited on November 25, 2003.
The Company manufactures bulk chemicals such as Sulphuric acid and Oleum and their downstream products such as Sulphur dioxide and Sulphur trioxide at its manufacturing site at Ankleshwar.
These chemicals find their use in several industries like Dyestuff, Fertiliser, Personal care, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Textile, etc. The manufacturing plant of the Company at Ankleshwar has an installed capacity of 140 tons per day of Sulphuric acid.
The facility at Amal Speciality Chemicals Ltd (ASCL) has commenced operation having the capacity to manufacture 300 tons per day of Sulphuric acid. Amal was promoted by Piramal Group in 1974-75; the controlling interest of the Company was sold to Atul Ltd in 1985-86.

About Continental Petroleums Ltd

Continental Petroleums Limited, established in July, 1986 had set up complete plant at Behror, in Rajasthan during the period of 1988-89 to manufacture various kinds of lubricants & greases for Automotive & Industrial application.
The Company is one of the leading manufacturers of industrial lubricants in India and manufacturing wide range of premium quality lubricants for Automotive & Industrial Application, specialties and process oils etc. under the brand name of 'CONTOL'.
It is also engaged in Common Treatment Disposal / Incineration of hazardous waste viz. solid, Liquid and Aqueous received from various industries. The Plant is spread over 20000 sq. meter with sufficient scope for expansion and processing and blending, R&D facilities with capacity of 9000 KL / Annum as per DGTD registration.
