Incorporated on 18 April, 1984, Andhra Petrochemicals Limited (APL) was jointly promoted by Harish Chandra Prasad of The Andhra Sugars Limited (ASL) and The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (APIDC).
The Company is manufacturer of Oxo-Alcohols, that consist of the Products viz., 2 Ethyl Hexanol, Normal Butanol and Iso Butanol.
It is an Associate of The Andhra Sugars Ltd., at Venkatarayapuram, Tanuku.
Company's installed capacity is 80,000 MT Per Annum.
At present, the demand supply gap is fulfilling by the Company, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., (IOCL), Imports and with substitute product of INA.
APL Plant has undergone an Optimization & Modernization Scheme to increase the capacity to 73,000 MTPA. The Plant employs the latest State of Art of Technology from M/s JM Davy, London, U.

Continental Petroleums Limited, established in July, 1986 had set up complete plant at Behror, in Rajasthan during the period of 1988-89 to manufacture various kinds of lubricants & greases for Automotive & Industrial application.
The Company is one of the leading manufacturers of industrial lubricants in India and manufacturing wide range of premium quality lubricants for Automotive & Industrial Application, specialties and process oils etc. under the brand name of 'CONTOL'.
It is also engaged in Common Treatment Disposal / Incineration of hazardous waste viz. solid, Liquid and Aqueous received from various industries.
The Plant is spread over 20000 sq. meter with sufficient scope for expansion and processing and blending, R&D facilities with capacity of 9000 KL / Annum as per DGTD registration.
