About IVP Ltd

Incorporated in 1929, IVP Limited is a manufacturer of vanaspati, vegetable oils, plasticisers, spark plugs, foundry chemicals, etc.
Initially known as Indian Vegetable Products, it was later taken over by the Atlanta Group in 1985, from its owner, Forbes, Forbes and Campbell.
Pioneering the manufacture of vanaspati in India in the thirties, the company has diversified and added a host of products in the past several decades.
In 1964, the company started the foundry chemicals division.
IVP Ltd were the first company to manufacture Foundry Chemicals in India in technical collaboration with M/s Ashland Inc way back in 1965. In 1978, the company diversified into industrial ceramics and spark plugs.

Vivid Global Industries Limited (Formerly known Vivid Chemicals Limited) was incorporated in September, 1987.
Promoted by Sudhir M Mody, the Company is engaged in the business of production of dye intermediates particularly in N-Methyl J. Acid, Phenyl J. Acid, Rhoduline Acid (Di.
J. Acid), Tobias Acid, Tobias Acid purified Grade & Sulpho Tobias Acid; which in turn are used as intermediates for direct and reactive dye industries. The Company is the only manufacturer of tobias acid in the organised sector.
The company has a plant to manufacture hydrochloric acid which was set up in 1973.
VCL had initially set up a project to manufacture beta naphthol (BN) in 1987 at Tarapur, Maharashtra.
