About Kakatiya Cement Sugar & Industries Ltd
Kakatiya Cement, Sugar & Industries Limited, formerly known as Kakatiya Cement Limited was incorporated in July, 1979 with the Registrar of Companies, in Hyderabad.
Pursuant to the Order dated. 04.12.1998 of the BIFR, the erstwhile Sree Kailas Sugars and Chemicals Limited (SKSCL) was merged with the Company with effect from 1st April, 1997 and the name of the Company was changed to Kakatiya Cement, Sugar & Industries Limited in 1998.
The Company's activities are organized into three operating divisions namely Cement, Sugar and Power.
The major activity of the company is to produce, manufacture, refine, sell and generally to deal in all kinds of Portland Cement, sugar, generation and distribution of power.
The Company started the business with a plant to manufacture ordinary Portland cement with a licensed capacity of 200 tpd at Srinivasanagar, Andhra Pradesh.
