The Company has in-house integrated manufacturing facilities situated at Mahad in Maharashtra and Jhagadia in Gujarat with knowledge, expertise and capacity to perform critical reactions like Hydrogenation, Condensation, Grignard reactions, as well as unit operations like Pyrolysis, Reactive Distillation, High Vacuum Distillation, Continuous Distillation to deliver consistency. Privi Speciality Chemicals Limited was initially incorporated as 'Fairchem Speciality Limited' on May 25, 1985.
The Company changed the name from Fairchem Speciality Limited to Privi Speciality Chemicals Limited on October 14, 2020.

About Tanfac Industries Ltd

Tanfac Industries Limited, is a Joint Venture Company promoted by Anupam Rasayan India Limited, previously by Aditya Birla Group and the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation Limited (TIDCO).
Incorporated in 1972, the Company is India's largest supplier of fluorine chemicals.
The Company commenced production in March 1985 with 100% capacity utilisation. The company's diversification scheme for the manufacture of Organo Fluorine Chemicals was completed in 1998-99.
The Organo Fluorine Chemicals viz. 2,4, Dichloro fluorobenzene, Acetophenone etc., used as intermediate chemicals in the manufacture of new generation antibiotics (bulk drugs) called Ciprofloxacin, Enrofloxacin etc.
The technology was sourced from Dalian F Chem, China. In 2000-01 the operations of the Company's new project for manufacture of DFCA remained suspended as it is uneconomical to operate the plant at the current depressed market price.
