The Company is manufacturing and selling Soda Ash and Ammonium Chloride Fertilizer and has its manufacturing facility at Tuticorin, in Tamil Nadu.
The Technical Grade Ammonium Chloride Plant with a capacity of 10,000 tonnes per annum was commissioned in October, 2000.
In 2005-06, the amalgamation of Company with Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation Limited (SPIC) became effective from April 1, 2005.
The Company commenced the manufacture of Ammonium Bicarbonate in 2006.
The Soda Ash is concentrated in Gujarat, owing to the abundant availability of key raw materials such as salt and lime.
Soda Ash is primarily used in the manufacture of detergents and glass.

Incorporated in 1986, Vinyl Chemicals (I) Limited is dealing in chemicals, mainly Vinyl Acetate Monomer (VAM).
It was promoted by the Parekh Group - a well-known group which manufactures and sells the Fevicol brand of adhesives, synthetic resins, binders, surfactants, pigments, etc - and SICOM, a Government of Maharashtra enterprise.
The Company is engaged mainly in trading of Vinyl Acetate Monomer.
