Quarter ended December 2024 compared with Quarter ended December 2023.

Net sales (including other operating income) of EIH Associated Hotels has increased 5.02% to Rs 133.01 crore.  

Operating profit margin has declined from 41.27% to 40.46%, leading to 2.95% rise in operating profit to Rs 53.81 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 6.95% to 6.71%.   Employee cost increased from 13.22% to 13.69%.   Other expenses rose from 38.57% to 39.15%.   

Other income up 40.07% to Rs 4.09 crore.  PBIDT rose 4.91% to Rs 57.9 crore.  Provision for interest up 10% to Rs 0.11 crore.  

PBDT rose 4.90% to Rs 57.79 crore.  Provision for depreciation down 0.23% to Rs 4.27 crore.  

Profit before tax grew 5.33% to Rs 53.52 crore.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 13.61 crore, compared to Rs 12.93 crore.  Effective tax rate was 25.43% compared to 25.45%.

Profit after tax rose 5.36% to Rs 39.91 crore.  

Promoters' stake was 75.00% as of 31 December 2024 ,compared to 75.00% as of 31 December 2023 .  

 

For year-to-date (YTD) results analysis

Net sales (including other operating income) of EIH Associated Hotels has increased 6.36% to Rs 268.33 crore.  

Operating profit margin has declined from 25.06% to 24.53%, leading to 4.10% rise in operating profit to Rs 65.82 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 7.59% to 7.51%.   Employee cost increased from 19.65% to 19.99%.   Other expenses rose from 47.69% to 47.96%.   

Other income up 37.98% to Rs 12.86 crore.  PBIDT rose 8.45% to Rs 78.68 crore.  Provision for interest fell 55.07% to Rs 0.31 crore.  

PBDT rose 9.06% to Rs 78.37 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 3.98% to Rs 13.05 crore.  

Profit before tax grew 10.13% to Rs 65.32 crore.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 15.56 crore, compared to Rs 15.1 crore.  Effective tax rate was 25.45% compared to 25.46%.

Profit after tax rose 3.08% to Rs 45.57 crore.  

Promoters' stake was 75.00% as of 31 December 2024 ,compared to 75.00% as of 31 December 2023 .  

Full year results analysis

Net sales (including other operating income) of EIH Associated Hotels has increased 14.16% to Rs 384.79 crore.  

Operating profit margin has jumped from 28.10% to 29.44%, leading to 19.63% rise in operating profit to Rs 113.30 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 8.02% to 7.20%.   Employee cost increased from 17.10% to 17.77%.   Other expenses fell from 46.79% to 45.59%.   

Other income up 85.29% to Rs 13.1 crore.  PBIDT rose 24.19% to Rs 126.4 crore.  Provision for interest up 105.13% to Rs 0.8 crore.  Loan funds declined from Rs 5.02 crore as of 31 March 2023 to Rs 4.04 crore as of 31 March 2024.  Inventories declined from Rs 14.78 crore as of 31 March 2023 to Rs 14.46 crore as of 31 March 2024.  Sundry debtors were higher at Rs 22.31 crore as of 31 March 2024 compared to Rs 16.01 crore as of 31 March 2023.  Cash and bank balance rose to Rs 39.74 crore as of 31 March 2024 from Rs 18.90 crore as of 31 March 2023.  Investments rose to Rs 153.22 crore as of 31 March 2024 from Rs 139.53 crore as of 31 March 2023 .  

PBDT rose 23.88% to Rs 125.6 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 1.93% to Rs 16.86 crore.  Fixed assets increased to Rs 309.96 crore as of 31 March 2024 from Rs 287.56 crore as of 31 March 2023.  Intangible assets declined from Rs 0.23 crore to Rs 0.06 crore.  

Profit before tax grew 28.16% to Rs 108.74 crore.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 27.71 crore, compared to Rs 20.23 crore.  Effective tax rate was 25.48% compared to 23.84%.

Profit after tax rose 25.39% to Rs 81.03 crore.  

Promoters' stake was 75.00% as of 31 March 2024 ,compared to 75.00% as of 31 March 2023 .  

Cash flow from operating activities decreased to Rs 77.53 crore for year ended March 2024 from Rs 91.23 crore for year ended March 2023.  Cash flow used in acquiring fixed assets during the year ended March 2024 stood at Rs 37.36 crore, compared to Rs 19.68 crore during the year ended March 2023.
