Exide Industries Ltd eases for fifth straight session

Exide Industries Ltd dropped for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 510.75, down 0.39% on the day as on 13:19 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 0.98% on the day, quoting at 24766.8. The Sensex is at 81090.89, down 0.95%.Exide Industries Ltd has lost around 10.22% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty Auto index of which Exide Industries Ltd is a constituent, has increased around 2.29% in last one month and is currently quoting at 26487.45, down 2.75% on the day. The benchmark August futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 512.85, down 0.69% on the day. Exide Industries Ltd jumped 98.81% in last one year as compared to a 27.78% rally in NIFTY and a 67.49% spurt in the Nifty Auto index.

The PE of the stock is 39.96 based on TTM earnings ending June 24.
