Overview of BOI ATM PIN generation

Bank of India ATM pin generation can be performed by the following methods:

Through ATM

You can generate a Bank of India ATM PIN at any nearest Bank of India ATM. Below are the steps you must follow:

• Step 1: Insert your card into the ATM and select your preferred language.
• Step 2: Select ‘Forget/create green PIN.
• Step 3: Select the ‘generate OTP’ option.
• Step 4: Enter the 6-digit OTP received on your registered mobile number.
• Step 5: Click the ‘Proceed’ button.
• Step 6: Create a 4-digit ATM PIN/debit card PIN.
• Step 7: Re-enter the PIN for confirmation and press the ‘submit’ button.

Please note – once done, you will get a notification on your registered mobile after successful PIN generation.

Through online banking

You can generate Bank of India ATM PIN or debit card PIN through online banking by following the below steps:  

• Step 1: Enter your username and password by visiting the Bank of India website.
• Step 2: Select the "Card PIN" option and click on "Generate PIN".
• Step 3: Select the debit card for which you want to generate the Bank of India Green PIN/ATM PIN. 
• Step 4: Enter your Bank of India debit card number and CVV number.
• Step 5: Click on “Generate OTP”.
• Step 6: Enter the OTP that is sent to your registered phone number.
• Step 7: Re-enter the new ATM/Debit Card PIN for confirmation.
• Step 8: Click the "Generate Now" button.

Once generated, you will get a confirmation message to your registered mobile number.

Through mobile application

You can generate a Bank of India ATM PIN or debit card PIN through mobile application banking by following the below steps:  

• Step 1: Download the Bank of India Mobile Banking App from the Play Store or ioS Store.
• Step 2: Register with your mobile number linked to your Bank of India account.
• Step 3: Log in with your User Name and Password.
• Step 4: On the Dashboard, go to the 'Cards' menu and then to 'Pin Generation.'
• Step 5:  Select the option ‘Create a New Pin’. 
• Step 6: Enter a 4-digit ATM PIN followed by your card number, expiry date, and CVV number.
• Step 7: Click ‘Confirm’ to activate the new PIN.

Once generated, you will get a confirmation message to your registered mobile number.
