• Step 1: Insert your card into the ATM and select the ‘PIN Generation’ option.
• Step 2: Select ‘create/change PIN’ from the list of services.
• Step 3: Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
• Step 4: Click the ‘Proceed’ button.
• Step 5: Create a 4-digit ATM PIN/debit card PIN.
• Step 6: Re-enter the PIN for confirmation and press the ‘submit’ button.

Please note – once done, you will get a notification on your registered mobile after successful PIN generation.

You can generate an HDFC Bank ATM PIN through SMS by following the below steps:

• Step 1: Send PIN<SPACE>last four digits of your ATM card<SPACE>last four digits of your account number from your registered mobile number to 567676.

Once done, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.

Another simple method for customers to generate an HDFC Bank ATM PIN online is through the HDFC Bank mobile banking app. The steps are as follows:

• Step 1: Get the HDFC Bank Mobile Banking App 'HDFC ai1' from the Play Store or iOS Store.
• Step 2: Once the application is installed, register with your mobile number linked to your HDFC Bank account.
• Step 3: Next, log in with your User Name and Password.
