When you open a savings or current account, PNB provides you the option to generate a PNB ATM Card PIN. ATM Pin offers customers secure Internet banking. This ensures the complete security of the funds present in the bank account. With the ATM pin, you can access the funds from anywhere. How to generate a PNB Green PIN?
Follow the below steps once you receive a card from the branch or at the registered address:
Step 1: Send SMS from registered mobile number (DCPIN<space>Card Number) to 5607040 / 9264092640 e.g. DCPIN 4723XXXXXXXXXXXX.
Step 2: A 6-digit OTP will be received on the registered mobile number, the validity of OTP will be 72 hours.
Step 3: On receipt of 6 digit OTP, you can use it at various channels viz, Internet Banking Services/ PNB One App/ ATM/IVR to create ATM PIN

PNB ATM pin generation through ATM
You can generate a Punjab National Bank ATM PIN at any nearest PNB ATM. Below are the steps you must follow:
Step 1: Insert your card into the ATM and select the ‘PIN Generation’ option.
Step 2: Select ‘create/change PIN’ from the list of services.
Step 3: Enter the 6-digit OTP received on your registered mobile number.
Step 4: Click the ‘Proceed’ button.
Step 5: Create a 4-digit ATM PIN/debit card PIN.
Step 6: Re-enter the PIN for confirmation and press the ‘submit’ button.
Please note – once done, you will get a notification on your registered mobile after successful PIN generation.
PNB ATM pin generation through interactive voice response
You can generate a PNB ATM PIN or debit card PIN through interactive voice response (IVR) by following the below steps:
Step 1: Call the PNB customer care number 1800-1800/1800-2021
Step 2: Select your preferred language and press the requested number.
Step 3: Select ‘Generate Debit Card PIN’.
Step 5: Enter the PNB account number and press the confirmation number.
Step 6: Enter the 16-digit PNB debit card number.
Step 7: For verification, enter your date of birth in the DDMMYY format.
Step 8: Input the 4-digit ATM PIN of your choice and the expiry date of your debit card.
Step 9: Re-enter your ATM PIN.
Once generated, you will get a confirmation message to your registered mobile number.
PNB ATM pin generation through online banking
You can generate a PNB ATM PIN or debit card PIN through online banking by following the below steps:
Step 1: Enter your username and password by visiting the PNB website.
Step 2: Click on Value Added Services and select ‘Card Related Services’
Step 3: Select the "Card PIN" option and click on "Generate PIN".
Step 4: Select the debit card for which you want to generate the PNB Green PIN/ATM PIN.
Step 5: Enter your PNB debit card number and CVV number.
Step 6: Click on “Generate OTP”.
Step 7: Enter the 6-digit OTP that is sent to your registered phone number.
Step 8: Re-enter the new ATM/Debit Card PIN for confirmation.
Step 9: Click the "Generate Now" button.
Once generated, you will get a confirmation message to your registered mobile number.
PNB ATM pin generation through mobile application
You can generate a PNB ATM PIN or debit card PIN through mobile application banking by following the below steps:
Step 1: Download the PNB Mobile Banking App 'PNB One’ from the Play Store or iOS Store.
Step 2: Register with your mobile number linked to your PNB account.
Step 3: Log in with your User Name and Password.
Step 4: On the Dashboard, go to the 'Debit Cards' menu and then to ‘Generation Green PIN'.
Step 5: Select and click on ‘Continue’.
Step 6: Enter a 6-digit Green PIN followed by your card number, expiry date, and CVV number.
Step 7: Once information is validated successfully, enter a 4-digit PIN for your PNB ATM/Debit card.
Step 8: Enter the PIN again to confirm.
Once generated, you will get a confirmation message to your registered mobile number.
