    How to Register for the NISM Certificate? 

    After understanding what is NISM certification, learning how the registration is completed may help individuals gain more clarity about the NISM certification. The following are steps usually applied to register for the NISM certificate. 

    1. Create a New Account 
      Visit the official NISM portal and select the option to create a new account by entering basic personal details. 
    2. Complete Profile Verification 
      Upload scanned copies of a passport-size photograph, Aadhaar card, and PAN card in the required format. These details are used only for verification purposes. 
    3. Wait for Account Approval 
      Once submitted, the profile is reviewed and usually approved within a few working days after verification. 
    4. Log In and Book the Exam 
      After approval, log in to the portal and choose the required NISM certification exam. The exam can be selected in either English or Hindi. 
    5. Choose Exam Mode and Slot 
      Select the preferred city or opt for the online mode if available. Choose a suitable date and time slot. 
    6. Make the Payment 
      Complete the registration by paying the prescribed examination fee through the portal. 
    7. Access Study Material 
      The relevant workbook is available on the portal and can be downloaded for preparation. 
    8. Post-Exam Requirement 
      After clearing certain certifications, an additional application such as ARN (AMFI Registration Number) may be required, depending on the role.
