About Nifty Midcap Liquid 15

The Nifty Midcap Liquid 15 Index, similar to Nifty100 Liquid 15 stocks, is intended to give investors exposure to liquid midcap equities while being easily reproducible and tradable. The Nifty Midcap Liquid 15 Index is calculated using the free float market capitalization weighted approach, and its level represents the total market value of all the stocks in the index relative to a certain base period.

The technique also takes into account index constituent changes and, more critically, business activities such as stock splits, rights, new share issuances, and so on without changing the index value. The maximum weight of any single stock in the index is 15%.
