Koushik Chatterjee Board Membership

Koushik Chatterjee, who is 54 years old, has been a pivotal figure at Tata Steel since joining in 1995, initially working in the Corporate Finance and Planning Group. He has held the role of Chief Financial Officer since August 2004 and was appointed to the Board as a Whole-Time Director in November 2012. His extensive experience includes managing financial strategies and operations for Tata Steel, overseeing significant financing programs exceeding US$60 billion, and leading initiatives in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and sustainability. Mr. Chatterjee is also actively involved in various prestigious organizations, including the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Board of India and the International Integrated Reporting Council. He holds directorships in several Tata Group companies and has been a frequent speaker on topics such as strategy, sustainability, and corporate governance. His academic background includes an undergraduate degree from the University of Calcutta and he is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
