Sandeep's previous stints include a key role in setting up the equity derivatives desk at ICICI Securities as vice president. He started his career with the Economic Times Research Bureau, a research wing of the leading financial daily of India, The Economic Times. He later joined IDBI Asset Management (now Principal Asset Management), and was part of the core team that initialized asset management, playing a key role in devising, conceptualizing and marketing one of India's most successful mutual schemes: IDBI I-NITS 95.
