Central Bank of India gains for third straight session

Central Bank of India gained for a third straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 60.35, up 1.39% on the day as on 12:49 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 0.12% on the day, quoting at 24269.55. The Sensex is at 79387.27, down 0.1%. Central Bank of India has slipped around 6.01% in last one month.

Meanwhile, Nifty PSU Bank index of which Central Bank of India is a constituent, has slipped around 5.6% in last one month and is currently quoting at 6916, up 0.07% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 52.61 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 136.76 lakh shares in last one month.

The PE of the stock is 17.16 based on TTM earnings ending June 24.
