Innovassynth Technologies (India) Limited was initially incorporated on February 15, 2008 as an Investment Company. The Company obtained the Certificate of Commencement of Business on March 4, 2008. Earlier, the Company was engaged in the business of customs synthesis, contract research & manufacturing of specialty chemicals, toll manufacture of chemicals and similar businesses. The name of the Company was changed to 'Innovassynth Technologies (India) Limited' dated December 31, 2025. The Company was promoted by Futura Polyesters Limited (FPL) with an initial paid up capital of Rs. 5 lakhs. The erstwhile Company held 31.79% in Innovassynth Technologies (India) Limited. In FY2025-26, Innovassynth Investments Limited got merged with the Company through Scheme of Merger, which became effective from December 19, 2025. Pursuant to the Scheme becoming effective, Innovassynth Investments Limited allotted 4,74,65,031 equity shares of Rs 10/- each to the shareholders of the Company. Until the merger of the erstwhile Company with Innovassynth Investments Limited, which became effective during 2025-26, the Company was an investment company. Consequent to the merger, the Company is an R&D driven, technology-based organisation engaged in developing, scaling up and manufacturing specialty chemicals and pharmaceutical intermediates, with its manufacturing facility at Khopoli, Maharashtra. Key focus business areas are custom synthesis, contract research and manufacturing of specialty chemicals, toll manufacture of chemicals and similar businesses. The niche area of focus is protected nucleosides and modified phosphonamidites used for clinical and therapeutic oligonucleotide applications.
