About KCP Sugar Industries

One of India's top sugar producers is KCP Sugar and Industries Corporation Ltd, the company owns a sugar factory that can crush 7,500 tonnes of sugarcane daily at Vuyyuru, Andhra Pradesh. Its associated businesses include the production and distribution of ethanol, extra-neutral alcohol, rectified spirit, organic manure, mycorrhiza vapour, calcium lactate, and CO2, and an engineering unit located in Thuvakudi, Tamil Nadu.

The company's primary business is the production of industrial alcohol and sugar. The Madras High Court approved the Scheme of Arrangement with "The KCP Ltd," which allowed the incorporation of KCP Sugar and Industries Corporation Limited in October 1995. The KCP Sugar Industries share price depends upon various factors that are crucial to setting the KCP Sugar and Industries Corporation Limited price target.

History of KCP Sugar Industries

Acetic acid's installed capacity was increased by the company to 3300 MT in 1996. Its crushing capacity was increased from 2500 TPD to 4000 TPD in 2001 at the Lakshmipuram plant. This reduction in share capital was made possible by the company's 2001 buyback of 15,54,511 equity shares. In the current fiscal year, the firm intends to establish a new 50 KLPD distillery-cum-ethanol facility at Vuyyuru. The 20 MW cogeneration facility in Vuyyuru was postponed for a while due to significant capital costs. In December 2005, the 50 KLPD New Distillery Plant was brought into service, and it began operations in 2006. It had a major impact on KCP Sugar Industries share price.

December 2005 marked the start of commercial production at the Vuyyuru Sugar Unit's 12 MW incidental cogeneration plant. The MW Incidental Cogeneration Plant in Lakshmipuram became operational in January 2006. The Lakshmipuram Unit was closed in 2020–21 because the supply and availability of raw materials (sugarcane) were insufficient to maintain the unit's financial viability. Lakshmipuram Unit's crushing operation was combined with Vuyyuru Unit's crushing operation to increase cane crushing's operational and financial efficiency. In Thuvakudi, Tamil Nadu, the company established an engineering division in 2021-2022 for manufacturing, machining, and assembling fabricated products made of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
