Sparc Electrex Limited was originally incorporated as Sparc Systems Private Limited' on September 14, 1989, with the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra. In 1994, Company was converted from Private Limited Company into a Public Limited Company effecting the name change to Sparc Systems Limited', and a fresh certificate of incorporation was granted by the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra on January 18, 1994. Due to change in new business activities, the Company name has got changed from 'Sparc Systems Limited' to 'Sparc Electrex Limited' on January 13, 2022 with due approval from the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai. For more than 13 years, Sparc has specialized in developing, manufacturing and distributing electronic solutions. Initially, Company was engaged in the business of Software and Hardware Electronic Security Solutions for Office Automation, Electronic Security Systems, Embedded and Internet Appliances etc. Its standard products include Video Conferencing Solutions, Mobile ATMs, GPS Tracking, GSM/GPRS/SMS Solutions, Security Systems, Firewalls, Access Control Systems etc. The Telematic range of products expanded and the Company launched Server room monitoring equipment. The Company's existing systems and components like Vehicle Asset Tracking and Delivery Systems, Biometric Security products, Video Conference, Security Systems, Firewalls, Access Control Systems etc have spread the market. Embedded Systems are used in almost every product including automobile, banking, and finance, energy, petrochemicals, etc. The Company began deploying datacentric appliances and services in 2013-14. The Company in 2021-22, changed its line of business from dealing in Software and Hardware Electronic Security Solutions i.e. office automation tools to Manufacturing and Trading in Power Tools, Electricals, Metals and Metal Products. Company had launched 9 new products consequent to execution of Exclusive Trademark License Agreement with Hyundai Corporation Holdings Co., Ltd, Korea dated 01st July, 2023.
