Studds Accessories Limited was incorporated as a private limited company as Studds Accessories Private Limited' on February 3, 1983. The Company subsequently got converted into a public limited company dated October 22, 1994 and the name was changed to Studds Accessories Limited'. The Company is India's first listed two-wheeler helmet manufacturer and one of the world's largest helmet manufacturers. It designs, manufactures, markets and sells helmets and riding accessories under 'STUDDS' and 'SMK' brands. The portfolio spans full-face, open-face, flip-up, flip-off, modular, off-road and adventure helmets, supported by a growing range of riding gear, gloves, visors, luggage systems, bluetooth devices and sporting helmets. The Company sells across India through a wide distributor network and exports to more than 70 countries. It supplies to OEM partners, manufactures for international private labels and is building its own premium global presence through SMK. The Company's manufacturing base in Faridabad integrates key processes in-house, including EPS liners, mould-making, decals, painting, stitching, assembly, testing and product development. These products serve students, office-goers, delivery partners, factory workers, families, touring riders and enthusiast. The Company offers more than 240 helmet styles and designs across full-face, modular, open-face, flip-up, flip-off, off-road and adventure helmets. This design portfolio translates into more than 19,000 SKUs, giving STUDDS one of the broadest rider safety product portfolios in the Indian market. The Company strategically expanded into the premium two-wheeler helmet segment in 2016, with the launch of brand 'SMK'. Since then, SMK emerged as the premium brand, which is exported to overseas market. The Company sold around 7.40 million helmets in FY 2025. The Company raised funds aggregating to Rs 455.48 crores by issuing 7,786,120 equity shares of face value of Rs 5 each via its initial public offering in November, 2025. The installed capacity of approximately 9.5 million units is being expanded to 12.5 million units through Facility V in FY26. In 2026, the Company added several launches across STUDDS and SMK, including Ninja Comet, Raider DV, Raider Street DV, JET (Long Visor), Nova, Laminar, Terrain Goggles; and Graphics-Helios D2 Circuit, Agnar Cyborg, Jet Toxic, Vogue D1 Square, Raider Brook, Ninja Elite D2 Stroxx, Typhoon Sparko, Gullwing Sonic, Allterra X Sprint, Stellar Sport Flight and more. It also entered riding gear in FY2025-26 with protective jackets and protective gloves including men's summer jackets, touring and winter jackets, women's winter jackets, waterproof gloves, leather gloves, touchscreen-compatible gloves and track-oriented products.
