Sustainable Energy Infra Trust (SEIT) operates as an infrastructure investment trust. The Company specializes in acquisition, investment, and development of wind, solar, and other renewable energy projects. Sustainable Energy Infra Trust serves customers in India. SEIT's portfolio comprises diversified, fully operational solar assets located across Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh. Mahindra Susten Private Limited (MSPL/ Sponsor) (Settlor) set up the Trust on July 20, 2023, as a contributory irrevocable trust with the MSPL Sponsor and the OTPP Sponsor to the Trust. The Trust was registered as an infrastructure investment trust under the InvIT Regulations on August 11, 2023 and has been formed to invest in infrastructure assets mainly in the renewable energy projects in India. Trust currently owns 8 solar generation projects with 1,554 MW DC of solar generation capacity. Over the years, the MSPL Sponsor demonstrated its business to adapt and deploy various advanced technologies including solar thin film modules as an independent power producer, single-axis trackers, automated cleaning robots, all-terrain cable traysfor laying cables on rocky strata and containerised inverter stations, bi-facial modules and BESS (battery energy storage system). The total installed generation capacity at the end of March 2023 was 416 GW, of which ~89 GW of capacity was added over fiscal 2017-23. However, RE installations (including large hydroelectric projects), have reached ~172 GW capacity as on March 2023. Out of 57 solar parks, nine parks are fully completed and eight parks are partially complete, with a cumulative capacity of 10,117 MW commissioned in these parks. The Trust launched its initial offer of 226,280,000 Units at a price of Rs 100 per unit by raising funds to Rs 2262.8 crore. The Offer comprised of a fresh issue of 136,500,000 Units, aggregating to Rs 1365 crore by the Trust and the offer for sale of 89,780,000 Units aggregating to Rs 897.8 crore on January 15, 2024. The Trust commissioned a 7.7 MWp by enhancing the capacity at the Goyalri Project in May 2025. Megasolis Renewables Private Limited (MRPL) Rewa project enhanced 7.8 MWp capacity in FY 2025. Trust issued Rs 750 crore listed Non-Convertible Debt Securities (NCSs) in Jul'25. In FY26, Trust has declared distributions of Rs 3,466 million i.e. Rs 10.70 per unit.
