Unitec Fibres Limited was originally incorporated on February 11, 2005 under the name 'Unitec Fibres Private Limited' under the Companies Act, 1956 with the Assistant Registrar of Companies, Mumbai. Subsequently, the status of the Company was changed to Public Limited Company and the name was changed to 'Unitec Fibres Limited' dated June 13, 2024, issued by the Central Processing Centre. Company is engaged in the manufacturing of Recycled Polyester Staple Fibre (RPSF), a product created from recycled polyester raw materials. The products find applications in industries like the automobiles, home furnishing and textile sectors. The Company utilize raw materials which are made from polyester waste, PET waste and discarded PET bottles for manufacturing RPSF. By converting such recyclable materials into RPSF, Company contribute to resource conservation, waste reduction and the production of environmentally sustainable products. The focus on recycling not only helps reduce waste but also contributes to a healthier planet by minimizing carbon footprint and conserving natural resources. Apart from this, Company operate two manufacturing units: Unit 1 and Unit 2 at M.I.D.C., Tarapur, Palghar, Thane, having a combined installed capacity of 27,984 MTPA for the production of RPSF p.a. In addition to the existing operations, Company has acquired land in Valsad, Gujarat, where it is in process of setting up an additional manufacturing line of RPSF production, which will be designated as manufacturing Unit 3. Company has filed a Draft Prospectus with the SEBI& is planning for IPO, which consist a fresh issue of 39,16,800 Equity shares having the face value of Rs 10 each.
