Vinit Mobile Limited was originally incorporated as a Private Limited Company as 'Tanya Silk Mills Private Limited' under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 dated May 26, 2011. Further the name of Company was changed from 'Tanya Silk Mills Private Limited' to 'Vinit Mobile Private Limited' on March 13, 2020, by the Registrar of Companies, Ahmedabad. Subsequently, the status of the Company was changed from private limited to public limited, and the name was changed to 'Vinit Mobile Limited' on May 21, 2025 by Registrar of Companies, Central Processing Centre, Manesar. Company is in the business of operating a multi-brand mobile retail chain offering smartphones and accessories through 'COCO' (Company Owned, Company Operated) retail model. It deal in a wide range of mobile handsets of most of the major brands in India which includes Apple, One Plus, Motorola, Samsung, Vivo, Oppo, Realme and Xiaomi etc. Alongside smartphones, stores also deals in related products such as tablets, data cards, and a variety of accessories like earphones, chargers, power banks, screen guards and mobile covers. The Company's current business operations commenced in FY 2022-23 after a change in management. It manages 32 Company-owned retail stores across Surat district, including locations such as Pandesara, Kadodara, Sachin, Amroli, Hazira, Sayan, Saroli, and Nilgiri. Under COCO model, the Company directly manages store operations, including recruitment and training of personnel, inventory planning and replenishment and customer service procedures. The COCO model supports consistency in operating practices across its retail network. Company has filed a Draft Red Herring Prospectus with SEBI and is planning a fresh issue of 21,60,000 equity shares of face value Rs 10 through its IPO.
