History of Hariom Pipe Industries Ltd

The company has two manufacturing facilities that supply items to the markets in western and southern India. The Mahabubnagar District in Telangana has a Unit I facility, which produces completed steel products from sponge iron and iron scrap. This plant has the most up-to-date machinery and technologies available to accurately test the products. The only facility in Andhra Pradesh that produces sponge iron is Unit II, which is situated in Anantapur District. One of the centres for the production of iron ore in South India is the Unit II plant, which is close to Bellary. 

The online bidding mechanism is primarily used to obtain the iron ore needed at Unit II to create sponge iron. The majority of the sponge iron produced at Unit II is shipped to Unit I, where it is utilised as a raw material supplier for the production of scaffolding, HR strips, MS pipes, MS billets, and MS pipes. After being acquired in September 2020, Unit II's production of sponge iron has decreased reliance on outside suppliers for raw materials. Backward integration, which helps in effective logistics, inventory management, procurement, energy savings, and quality control, has allowed Unit I and II's integration to optimise operations and profitability.
