Trades executed on this day will be settled on March 28, 2025 (Friday), within the same financial year. However, trades executed on March 28, 2025 (Friday), will be settled in the next financial year on April 2, 2025 (Wednesday) due to below reasons.
Important Update: Settlement & Trading Holidays.
- March 31, 2025 (Monday): Trading holiday for Id-Ul-Fitr (Ramadan Eid).
- April 1, 2025 (Tuesday): Settlement holiday for Annual Bank Closing (Trading will be open, except for the Currency segment).
Impact on Your Transactions:
- If you buy stocks or create an MTF position on 28-Mar-25 Friday , you won't be able to sell them on March 31 and April 1 due to the Trading and Settlement holidays.
- Any F&O Credits (i.e. Premium from option sold, market-to-market profit, intraday profits, etc.) and intraday equity profits done on 28 Mar 2025,will not be available in your funds due to the settlement and trading holiday.
- The Currency Segment will be closed on April 01 2025 for trading, while other segments will remain open as usual.
