How to change the name in the BlinkX account

BlinkX does not allow name changes directly. If there’s a PAN mismatch or name discrepancy, you may need to first correct it with the PAN database. 

In case of a name discrepancy or an update to your name, you will need to take a few steps:

Check your PAN name

First things first: Review the name listed on your PAN. By the way, the name on the PAN is the key reference for all financial accounts in India. Your PAN details can be easily verified from one's NSDL or UTIITSL website.

Update your name on PAN (if applicable)

If you have the incorrect name on your PAN or you wish to update or correct the name (ie married name, misspelled name, etc.), you need to apply for a PAN correction. You can do this online (using the NSDL or UTIITSL portal), and you will need some supporting documents such as:

● Aadhar card

● Passport

● Marriage certificate (if applicable)

Once you are updated on PAN, you can share a new PAN card with your name corrected.
