Brinda Jagirdar Board Membership

Dr. Brinda Jagirdar (DIN: 06979864) was appointed as an Additional Director in the category of Independent Director on May 12, 2023, for a consecutive term of five years, not liable to retire by rotation. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Mumbai, an M.S. in Economics from the University of California at Davis, and an M.A. in Economics from Gokhale Institute, Pune. With extensive experience in macroeconomics, banking, and finance, she is a retired General Manager and Chief Economist at the State Bank of India. Additionally, she serves as a Visiting Faculty at the National Institute of Bank Management and is on the Research Advisory Committee of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. Dr. Jagirdar also chairs the Stakeholders’ Relationship Committee and is a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee at Rane Holdings Ltd. She is recognized for her contributions as a speaker at seminars and conferences, and as a panellist on television business channels, while also serving as an Independent Director for Rane Brake Lining Limited, Rane Engine Valve Limited, and IDFC First Bank Limited.
